Dairy queen, dairy farmer killed in crash in Iowa

Dairy Queen’s owner was killed in a crash Friday in Iowa, and a dairy farmer was injured in a separate crash in the same county, authorities said.

The crash was reported at about 3:30 p.m. in the 500 block of South Main Street in Parma, according to the Parma Police Department.

The owner of the Dairy Queen in Parson City was killed and a passenger in the truck was injured, according, the police department said in a news release.

No arrests have been made in the crash.
