Place the ingredients in a large bowl.
Add water to cover by 1/2 cup.
Add milk to the bowl and stir to combine.
Add the spices, a few drops of milk, and mix to combine again.
Add a few tablespoons of water and mix again.
Cover and refrigerate for up to two days, or overnight, depending on the dairy’s availability.
